You can choose between a tour and workshop or a hands-on farming experience, with a touch of friendly competition. You'll head home with a bundle of fresh produce and the satisfaction of a day outside enjoying the sun, fresh air, and wildlife while learning about the land from a team of incredible farmers.

Experience Options

Option 1: tour + workshop

Start with an introduction to Zawadi Farms and learn about the philosophy of Community Supported Agriculture. Enjoy the sun, fresh air, and wildlife as we tour the beds and greenhouses to see how food is grown and processed. 

Choose between workshops on social health and composting, how to start your own garden project at home or learn how to pickle fresh veggies that you can take home.

Option 2: hands-on farming & friendly competition

Looking to get your hands into the dirt? Grab your team, roll up your sleeves, and learn to farm while participating in various challenges. From harvesting vegetables to maintaining the cleanest bed to testing teamwork in wheelbarrow relays, Zawadi's farming activities are fun while fostering camaraderie and communication skills. What type of tasks you do will be dependant on the time during the farming season when you visit.
