Meet your Facilitator: Alison Butler

Alison is a workplace wellness, burnout prevention and mental well-being advocate. She is a business owner with 20 years of experience as a conference and event speaker and loves engaging with audiences, both virtually and in person.

After experiencing her own mental health challenges, Alison decided that there were not enough working professionals talking about the realities of wellbeing and mental wellness. She is a Certified Mental Health First Aid Trainer through the Mental Health Commission of Canada and teaches 40-50 courses a year for workplaces.

Alison talks openly and honestly about her own experiences with burnout and mental health. Her goal is to talk about mental health and wellbeing in a way that everyone can understand. She aims to break down barriers of what mental health "looks like" and share the message that we can all work together to change our own mindset about mental health and to work on our own mental well-being.
