Recognize burnout as a major problem in today’s workplaces, know the warning signs of burnout, understand the causes of burnout, and learn practical tools to prevent burnout.
Burnout To Boundaries™ Leadership
Targeted to workplace leadership teams, this session focuses on how we can create change in workplace mental health and psychological safety. We look at HOW we implement ideas and strategies that will help our teams prevent burnout and build good mental wellbeing.
Workplace Mental Health In Action
Alison shares her personal journey with mental health and inspires participants to think about mental health as something that affects us all. We also work on removing the stigma around mental health and inspire participants to think in new ways about their own mental wellbeing and share easy tips and tools for participants to improve their own mental health & wellbeing.
Making Time For Wellness in Your Busy Day
A motivational session focused on the importance of looking after your mental well being, “real talk“ about making time for yourself as a busy working professional, how to overcome the “mental mountains“ that get in your way, and creating an individual action plan to support your own wellness.
Did you know, Alison is also a certified Mental Health First Aid instructor?
What is Mental Health First Aid? Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is the support provided to a person who may be experiencing a decline in their mental well-being or a mental health crisis.
Course participants will learn how to recognize signs that a person may be experiencing a decline in their mental well-being or a mental health crisis and encourage that person to:
Talk about declines in their mental well-being
Discuss professional and other supports that could help with recovery to improved mental well-being
Reach out to these support
Assist in a mental health or substance use crisis
Use MHFA actions to maintain one’s own mental well-being"
