Meet Your Artist: Hemangi Jasnani + Maureen Da Silva
Hemangi Jasnani
Hemangi is a multidisciplinary artist and arts educator whose practice is inspired by her Indian heritage. Her work explores how these textile patterns, embroideries, and weaves of India, intersect with fabrics from across the world. She currently leads art facilitation for the organization Blank Canvases.
Maureen Da Silva
Da Silva is a printmaker and arts educator whose practice in printmaking and feminism has taken her artistic passions to found a printmaking collective inPrint as well as lead art experiences with organizations including the Art Gallery of Ontario, VIBE Arts, and Blank Canvases.
