Silkscreen Workshops w/ Yasmine Louis

Learn the art of silkscreen printing with Yasmine Louis, a seasoned artist with a passion for blending her multicultural background into her work.

After moving to Toronto and graduating from the Ontario College of Art and Design, Yasmine established her silkscreen printing studio in the vibrant Queen West District. Over the years, she has expanded her craft from pillows and clothing to commissioned works, limited edition artworks, and print installations.

The workshop includes all materials for creating your silkscreen prints, whether you choose to design custom fabrics or experiment with paper prints. You’ll have the opportunity to create multiple pieces, with the flexibility to use your prints for various applications – from home decor to personal accessories. The creative possibilities are endless!

Package:

  • cotton fabric or paper for printing, a selection of pre-made screens, water-based inks, and additional supplies as needed.

With a background in multicultural influences and a passion for printmaking, she has developed a diverse portfolio that includes printed pillows, clothing, and limited edition artworks. Her work has been featured in major art shows, international residencies, and is part of the City of Toronto Art Collection. Yasmine shares her expertise through engaging workshops, inviting participants to explore the art of silkscreen printing.
