The Iron Chef Team Challenge

An Iron Chef-style culinary showdown meets team connection exercise —all centered around the world's favorite comfort food: noodles! Inspired by the idea that every culture has its own take on noodle dishes, this experience encourages creativity, collaboration, and a touch of friendly competition.

What to Expect

This isn't just another virtual meeting — it's a full-on culinary showdown.

• Team Collaboration: Participants will be split into small breakout rooms where they'll work together with colleagues to dream up and execute a creative noodle dish using a curated list of ingredients.

• Live Coaching: Chef Ben Hayward will drop into each breakout room during the cooking process to offer feedback, tips, and a dose of culinary inspiration.

• The Showdown: After cooking, everyone will return to the main Zoom room to present their dishes. Expect fun presentations, plenty of laughs, and a bit of friendly competition as we vote for the most creative, delicious, or downright outrageous noodle creation.

• Bragging Rights: The winning team will be crowned champions of The Great Noodle Showdown

Ben Hayward

With over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, Ben Hayward is the founder and chef behind Hayward Food, a thriving Toronto-based catering company known for its refined yet approachable style. His culinary journey began at a small French bistro in Mississauga and led him to Toronto, where he honed his skills at acclaimed spots such as La Palma, Bar Prima, and Campagnolo, as well as serving as Catering Director at Harbourfront Centre.

Rooted in French training but guided by a contemporary Canadian approach, Ben emphasizes seasonality and sustainability in every menu he creates. His expertise extends beyond the kitchen to wine pairing, oyster shucking, and crafting food experiences that are both memorable and delicious.
