Meet your Baker: Alana Perri
Alana is the face behind ‘There is a Hole in This Cake.’ Her entire life has been spent in a kitchen, around a kitchen table, or anywhere the food was. She grew up a first-generation Canadian in a very Italian family and no matter what was going on, food brought her family together. Some of her favorite memories are from those very moments. To this day, anytime she bakes something that she’s proud of or whenever she needs baking advice, she calls her Nonna. “If it weren’t for her, she would not have the skill and appreciation she now has for food. She is no stranger to the kitchen.”
