Meet Christina of Auntie’s Supply
Christina Tolosa Pack is the founder behind Auntie’s Supply, an Asian-owned superette in downtown Toronto. As a first-gen Filipino-American, Christina grew up eating home-cooked Filipino food daily, even though she was sometimes embarrassed by the distinct aromas. However, her pride in her cultural cuisine never wavered, and she loved introducing people to East Asian food.
Driven by her passion and a desire to show love to her community, Christina established Auntie’s Supply. The store curates snacks and ingredients specifically for Asian millennials, aiming to help them recreate their fondest food memories and create new ones. Through food, Auntie’s Supply fosters conversation and connection, serving as a channel to bring people together.
Meet Daniel of Matcha Dive
Daniel Liu lived a former life as a runway model based in NYC riding the highs + lows of caffeine-fueled shoot days, burnt-out ways, jet-lag, erratic sleep, dry skin and jitters. Discovering matcha was like a deep dive into living life with vitality. After relocating to Toronto + rural Ontario, finding high-quality matcha became a worthy endeavor and ultimately sparked the quest for an approachable, affordable, high-quality powder of purity that supports + sustains energy levels and overall wellness while restoring ritual in the mundane.
Sourced from traditional organic farmlands near the Japanese Alps, Matcha Dive is cultivated in Japan and sipped in presence.
