Corporate Events Sales Representative
Part-Time | Flexible Hours | Remote | Commission-Based
About Care/Of
Care/Of Productions is an experienced and growing Toronto-based production studio creating high-end culinary events and experiences for a range of corporate and private clients. We produce everything from intimate dinners and high-end brand activations to large off-site events and virtual experiences. We collaborate with a unique roster of talent: chefs, sommeliers, artists, designers, and more.
We're a small, fast-moving team with high standards and a lot of autonomy. There are no five levels of approval here. If you have an idea, you make it happen. If something isn't working, you fix it. We trust our people to own their work and take real pride in what we collectively produce.
The Opportunity
This is a part-time, flexible, commission-based role designed for someone who knows how to open doors, build relationships, and close deals.
You'll work directly with the founder to bring in new clients and grow our accounts. For straightforward offerings (in-office workshops, client appreciation events, team cooking experiences), you'll be able to run the full sales cycle independently. For larger, more custom events, you'll work closely with the founder to shape the concept and pitch. She’ll bring the creative vision, you bring the sales lens and follow-through.
There is no office requirement, no set hours, and no micromanagement. Your income reflects what you close.
The Role
New Business Development: Identify and pursue companies that have never worked with Care/Of. Your focus is corporate prospects: HR teams, executive assistants, office managers, marketing leads, and event buyers across industries — including financial services, wealth management firms, and professional services. You are building net-new relationships, not managing existing ones.
Outbound Prospecting: Build and work a prospect list from scratch. That means research, cold and warm outreach, follow-up, and converting conversations into booked events. You bring your own network and your own hustle.
Pipeline Management: Manage your pipeline from first outreach through signed contract. Track activity in our CRM, follow up reliably, and keep the founder looped in on where things stand. Commission is earned on new accounts you close — not on existing Care/Of clients.
Proposal & Pitch Support: For simpler offerings, you build and send the pitch. For complex or custom events, you bring the lead and work with the founder to develop concepts, scope, and pricing. You may join client calls or pitches together.
Who You Are
You have a background in corporate sales, account management, business development, or client services — ideally with experience selling B2B, to HR teams, executive assistants, marketing leads, or event buyers across corporate sectors — including financial services, wealth management, and professional services firms.
You're self-directed. You don't need to be managed. You know how to prioritize, prospect, and follow through without someone checking in.
You understand the value of a well-produced experience — and you can articulate it to a client who's never thought about it before. You will be supported in learning the value of what we do and what you are selling.
You're looking for flexibility. Maybe you're re-entering the workforce after a career break, building a portfolio of part-time work, or want something that fits around other commitments. This role is built for that.
You're motivated by results. Commission income works for you because you know you can sell — and you want the upside that comes with it.
