We’ll kick off with a comedy workshop featuring Alia Rasul from Bad Dog Theatre. Alia will introduce the power of humor in everyday interactions, sharing personal insights from her improv career. Through a series of interactive exercises, you’ll discover how humor can create a more connected, positive work environment.

Then, it’s time to cook! In “Tortas Without Borders,” Chef Jose Matamoros will walk us through making a Mexican torta with options like pulled chicken or pork, chipotle mayo, avocado, pickled onions, and crusty bread. Plus, Chef Jose will share quick, accessible tips, like how to make a zesty pickled onion or a seasoned mayo to elevate any sandwich.
