Sausage Making Workshop with Chef Joshua Bagalacsa

Join us for a unique culinary adventure at our Sausage Making Workshop, where you'll learn to make fresh sausages from scratch. Perfect for home cooks and food enthusiasts, Chef Joshua Bagalacsa will lead you through:

  • Ingredient Exploration: Learn about meat, spices and casings

  • Hands-on Prep: Season and mix our sausage filling

  • Stuffing and Twisting: Fill and shape your own sausage links

The workshop package includes a family-style meal to be enjoyed after making the sausages, including shareable appetizers and the featured sausage blend in the main course. 
According to our Chef, fresh sausages are best enjoyed the day after preparation, so participants will take home the sausages they've made.

Meet your Chef: Joshua Bagalacsa

Joshua Bagalacsa is an award-winning chef who has worked in some of Toronto’s top dining establishments. His most recent engagement has been as a Chef de Cuisine and Charcutier at Paris Paris.

Joshua’s has recently gained international recognition for his charcuterie products, having been awarded “Best Fermented Sausage” for his original Spanish Chorizo as well as an honourable mention for his Mexican Mole Salami at the Annual Charcuterie Masters Event in New York City amongst participants from Canada, USA and Europe.

He not only strives to master traditional charcuterie but also continues to research and experiment with new, unique recipes and methods of curing meats. Joshua enjoys sharing his knowledge of the restaurant industry as well as his specialization in charcuterie as a mentor to aspiring chefs and home cooks alike.
